Our Wines

The Wine Cellars Group welcomes you to the exciting world of wines from South Africa! South Africa has been making wine since 1659 (40 years before Californian and 130 years before Australia and New Zealand!) These wines have a history that encompasses many backgrounds and cultures. With each passing year, South African wines are growing in stature. No longer curio items on wine lists and in some shops, South African wines are responsible for the new surge in wines from the Southern Hemisphere. These wines are Old World in heritage, but New World in style.

The Wine Cellars Group keeps its finger on the pulse of what’s really happening in the world of wine and selects only the best wines in terms of quality and value. Ours is a hands-on operation that listens to the consumer, and takes their needs to heart. From our great wine producers in South Africa, to our dynamic, well trained staff (we have regular staff tastings and hire veteran consultants who specialize in wines from the Southern Hemisphere to assist in the planning and buying).
